Västra Hamnen in Malmö has been transformed from an industrial area into an attractive district close to the sea. An increasing number of businesses have chosen to locate their offices in the area and the number of residents continues to increase. Today approximately 8 000 people work in Västra Hamnen and 4 500 homes have been constructed. There are also approximately 10 000 students in the area attending Malmö University.

Proximity to City Tunnel

The World Trade Center Malmö ls located in the western sector of Västra Hamnen in close proximity to the sea and Ribersborg. The short distance to Malmö’s Central station and the City tunnel makes the area easily accessible. It is easy to get to the World Trade Center Malmö by bus, car, and bicycle or on foot. Several buses with frequent running intervals have routes through Västra Hamnen and there are over 500 parking spots including 150 guest spots within the World Trade Center Malmö.
